Africa Talks Jobs
“Africa needs jobs, jobs, jobs. 'Africa Talks Jobs' was a series of conferences organised by the African Union to show young people how they can get better opportunities for skilled jobs.”
Task
To document the results of the “Africa Talks Jobs” conference series, the studio designed various printed materials and developed a bilingual website in English and French. The conference logo was specified and integrated into the visual identity. In consultation with the organisers, a corporate design line was created with defined colours and fonts that underlined the optimistic character of the events.
Large-format photos of speakers and participants were used for the brochures in combination with the key colour orange. The design reflected the lively atmosphere of the events. In addition, quotes from politicians who spoke on the topics of work and education in Africa were incorporated and emphasised as a design element.
The website documented the results of the conferences and displayed key content such as event topics, photo galleries and statistics. The intuitive design enabled clear navigation and was aimed at an African audience.
